Allyson Brannon

Allyson Haley Brannon, age 14, of rural Rudd, died suddenly of natural causes on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center Emergency Room in Osage.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with Father Jack McClure, CPPS, officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with a scripture wake service at 7:30 p.m.

Allyson was born August 14, 1997, in Cresco, Iowa. She attended RRMR School in Rockford. Allyson greatly enjoyed Special Olympics. She loved playing with her brother, Collin, and with their pets. Allyson also loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed going out to eat. She enjoyed visits to her father’s home where she liked driving four-wheelers and the John Deere tractor and going to fairs and the Mall of America.

Allyson is survived by her mother, Terry (Richard) Bohr of Rudd; her father, Neil Bronner of Cresco, and friend, Kenda Gullickson of Ridgeway, Wisconsin; her brother, Collin Bohr of Rudd; maternal grandparents, Merle and Delores Brannon of New Hampton; paternal grandparents, Robert and Margaret Bronner of Cresco; step-grandmother, Lorrena Bohr of Waucoma; maternal great-grandfather, Clem Langreck of Waucoma; aunts and uncles, Deb (Kevin) Friedman of Marble Rock, Dan Brannon and Kara of Waucoma, Steve Bronner of Chandler, Arizona, Kim (Lori) Bronner of Cresco, Gloria Bronner and Steve Koble of Clear Lake, Loren (Cheryl) Bronner of Cresco, and Paul (Rhonda) Bronner of Ridgeway.

She was preceded in death by maternal great-grandmother, Bernice Langreck; maternal great-grandparents, John and Charlene Brannon; step-grandfather, Mark Bohr; paternal great-grandparents, Claude and Bessie Bronner; and paternal great-grandparents, Gilbert and Eleanor Wilson.
